July 2015 – Debt Progress Report

Well it is now August and as promised we are publishing our debt progress report for the month of July. This will allow you to see our progress and how much debt we have been able to get rid of in the last 31 days.

Brian’s Progress

June 1st: $22,477.58
June 30th: $22,041.02

This month I didn’t make as much progress as I wanted because I moved, which I forgot how many extra little expenses you run into, such as deposits, new accounts for power and water, internet hookups, paying the movers, etc. I plan to make more progress in August. I see Brett is gonna pass me next month :( But as we know with paying off debt, there really aren’t any losers.

Remaining Loans:

  • Great Lakes School Loan #1: -$8,540.01 -$8,465.57
  • Great Lakes School Loan #2: -$1,554.32 -$1,506.94
  • Car Loan: -$12,383.25 -$12,068.51

Brett’s Progress

June 1st: $27,470.24
June 30th: $22,050.13

We are still pushing along. This month we managed to get down to our very last school loan, although it is a big one. I’ve been getting so sick of having to see so much of our money leave us each month, so I’m ready to get these final months of payments done!

Together we got rid of $5,856.67 of debt in July!
